Permits for Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan Tour
For the Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan Tour, you will need a TIMS (Trekkers’ Information Management System) card, although it is generally arranged by Nepal Passion Treks and Expedition for you as part of the tour package. For entry into Chitwan National Park, an entrance fee is required, and this will be arranged in advance. All other activities and permits within the cities of Kathmandu and Pokhara, such as entry fees to temples and museums, are handled by your guide.

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,320m / 4,330ft)

Kathmandu is a lively hub, rich in culture, history, and spirituality. The evening is free for you to enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner and prepare for your exciting journey ahead.

Day 2 : Kathmandu Sightseeing (1,320m / 4,330ft)

After breakfast, you will undertake on a full day of sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley, visiting some of the most iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites. First, head to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest and holiest Buddhist stupas in the world. You will see Buddhist monks spinning prayer wheels, pilgrims walking the kora (the circuit around the stupa), and vibrant Tibetan prayer flags waving in the wind. From there, you will continue to Pashupatinath Temple, the most sacred Hindu temple in Nepal, where you’ll witness the rituals of worship and cremation on the banks of the Bagmati River.
